How is eyelid surgery done?

Under local anesthesia, the hanging and excessive skin is removed and the incision is closed. The operation is called blepharoplasty or correction of tear troughs and is done on an outpatient basis . After the procedure, the patient rests for 20 -30 minutes with small cold packs placed on the eyes. The operation is done in a relaxing atmosphere and is very effective. Prior to the procedure, we do recommend that you arrange transportation home.
